Recommendation:

Shark cartilage is safe to chew on and can be fully consumed by your dog. However, never leave a dog or pet unattended with any treat or toy. We recommend supervising your dogs as they enjoy chowing down on their new favorite treat at all times as an extra precaution.

Our shark products are either 100% North Queensland Black Tip or Australian Gummy shark. These are both common sharks in Australia caught using sustainable practices with quotas strictly managed by the Australian Fisheries. They are declared as the least concern by the IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature). They are very common in Australian waters and not endangered. No threatened shark species are used in our products.

These fish are primarily caught for human consumption. Often referred to as flake in fish and chip shops and we mainly use the non-human consumption leftovers which would otherwise be discarded. Therefore, nothing is wasted. We only use the leftovers of common sustainably fished Australian sharks used for human consumption.
